Product Overview
The Volumetric Floating Coil Heat Exchanger is a heat exchange device that combines heat exchange and water storage functions. It features internal heat exchange tube bundles and utilizes the thermal storage characteristics of the large water volume outside the tubes to achieve stable and continuous hot water supply. The vessel is manufactured from high-quality carbon steel or stainless steel, suitable for hotels, hospitals, schools, and other locations requiring large-flow hot water.
Working Principle
The vessel of the Volumetric Floating Coil Heat Exchanger stores a certain volume of water, with heat exchange tube bundles submerged in the water. The heating medium (steam or high-temperature water) flows inside the tube bundles, transferring heat through the tube walls to the cold water in the vessel. The large vessel volume provides excellent thermal storage capacity, effectively handling water demand fluctuations and ensuring stable water supply temperature.
Technical Features
- Combines heat exchange and water storage, no separate storage tank needed
- Large thermal storage capacity, stable outlet temperature with minimal fluctuation
- Tube bundles made of high-quality copper or stainless steel tubes, strong corrosion resistance
- Large vessel volume meets peak water demand
- Simple structure, reliable operation, long service life
- Available in steam type or high-temperature water type based on heating medium
Applications
- Hot water supply systems for hotels
- Domestic hot water for hospitals and medical institutions
- Centralized hot water supply for schools and public baths
- Residential hot water systems
- Constant temperature water supply for industrial processes
- Heating systems for swimming pools and hot springs
Selection Guide
When selecting the Volumetric Floating Coil Heat Exchanger, determine the vessel volume based on rated hourly water consumption and peak demand. The heating medium type (steam or high-temperature water) and parameters directly affect the heat exchange area design. Choose appropriate tube bundle material based on water quality. For areas with poor water quality, stainless steel tube bundles or additional water treatment equipment is recommended.
