Product Overview

The Secondary Pressurized Water Supply Equipment is a complete equipment for pressurization, pressure stabilization, and water supply, consisting of pump units, pressure tanks (or bladder tanks), piping valves, and control systems. Using variable frequency speed control technology, it automatically adjusts pump speed and the number of operating pumps based on water demand changes, achieving constant pressure variable flow water supply. It is widely used in residential areas, office buildings, and industrial plants.

Working Principle

The Secondary Pressurized Water Supply Equipment monitors outlet pressure in real-time through pressure sensors. The PLC controller compares the measured pressure with the set value and adjusts the pump motor speed via the variable frequency drive. When water demand increases, the VFD increases pump speed to maintain pipe network pressure; when demand decreases, it reduces speed to save energy. Multiple pumps can automatically switch to achieve optimal energy-saving operation.

Technical Features

  • Variable frequency constant pressure water supply, minimal pressure fluctuation, high water quality
  • Significant energy savings, 20%-50% compared to traditional water supply methods
  • Eliminates secondary contamination, no elevated water tank needed, better water quality assurance
  • High automation level with water shortage protection, over-pressure protection
  • Small footprint, easy installation, short construction period
  • Non-negative pressure equipment can connect directly to municipal network, utilizing municipal residual pressure

Applications

  • Domestic water supply for residential areas and high-rise buildings
  • Water supply systems for office buildings and commercial complexes
  • Process water supply in industrial production
  • Fire protection water supply systems
  • Agricultural irrigation and landscaping
  • Boiler make-up water systems

Selection Guide

When selecting the Secondary Pressurized Water Supply Equipment, determine pump specifications and quantity based on maximum design flow and head. Multiple pump parallel configuration (2-4 units) is recommended to accommodate different time periods. For non-negative pressure equipment, confirm whether the municipal network allows direct pumping. The VFD power should match the pump motor with adequate margin.
